A letter from another charity?
Other charities also buy and cancel medical debt and mail letters. If your letter names a different organization, it may be real. Check it with that organization using a phone number or website you find yourself, not the one in the letter. Real relief letters never ask you to pay.
How we contact people.
- We will never ask you to pay to receive relief.
We will also never ask for card or bank details, your Social Security number, or a signature to receive relief.
